thank you friend :flower: I think he feels a bit worried about me. it is a quasi-avuncular or parental relationship, like a grandfather to a grandson [albeit an overgrown one].
Might very well be at this stage. But if it is your intention to go and talk to him a little more I'd say do it. He doesn't seem particularly judging.

his locked gate does not invite people to knock on his door.
