I was homeless Jan of 2011 and those temps didn't look much worse.

And... in Jan of 2011 I was sleeping at a waffle house actually and those people looooove me for the record. I never brunt that bridge actually, I left for years and came back homeless and they still took me in and even said kind things after I totally wrecked the place in a bar fight. Its been a while but they might do it again and if they don't they will for a price and I honestly have no problem taking advantage of someone doing something they shouldn't be doing because 9 out 10 times, its the very person that is judging for not doing what you are suppose to be doing.

Personal rant, we can have blast ass-p getting banned from places, I am greatly looking forward to it

No, I say we follow the rules actually, but bribing waffle house seems pretty fair game to me, anyone that has been in one at 3 am probably agrees. But these horrible worse case scenarios are very worst case.

We shouldn't have a need for waffle house or sleeping outside.

Just a quick run down of some options without even that much thought, there could be more or less but,

Park Center, Shelter, this 90 day extension of the shelter which happens to be owned by my doctor, just an interesting fact that might help, you never know what people say, you have to experiment. I know some group homes, some that take under 72 hours if the right conditions are met and we can keep trying until they are met. Some more not quite to sleeping on the street options include a 72 hour emergency housing thingy that probably doesn't fit but it might, it had people detoxing but I knew many people that were not addicts of any kind and they were not dishonest, some of them were getting into places and was kind of on hold if you will. Also every Tuesday my ex pastor peaches in public under a bridge, he has problems but he will not purposefully knowingly hurt anyone. You don't have to follow any religion and frankly I would not trust him but character takes many complex turns when you have a person who stands on the side of the road for hours at a time bleeding money on people who don't even see it.

He can continue using his card, the only downside might be that the network for his particular card might be smaller in Nashville and he may have to use ATMs that charge fees. But if that should be the case, he can just use the card on the short term and get another account open in Nashville where he has more free ATMs near him.

Of course, he needs to report in to the Soc Sec office in Nash to report an address change but that's just a clerical thing.

For medication, what I would say is to go to a shelter when you first get in Nashville and tell them you're homeless without medication and see what resources they can offer. Then, let them sign you up for Medicaid in Tennessee, I think it's called TennCare (?) there and you'll be set.

I've been to Nashville for work a number of years ago. I liked it fine and I do think this could turn out to be a win-win situation with DJC and ASS-P because each of you can be supportive of each other.

On the website 'wanderu.com', there is a Greyhound bus for $119, leaving on Wednesday the 4th at 1pm. It leaves from 200 Folsom St.

Leaving from your shelter, it's about a 20 minute trip (bus/train, includes walking time) to 200 Folsom St, costing around $3. There are plenty of transport options, here are two - one with a lightrail and one by bus. Both arrive at 200 Folsom Street at either 11:30 or 12pm, depending on which one you choose, so you can get there nice and early:

a) 11:09am or 11:39am - At the Civic Center Station, catch the
KT: K-Ingleside / T-Third Street Train (Sunnydale & Bayshore)
It's just four stops and then you get off at the Folsom & The Embacadero station. From there, head northwest on The Embarcadero toward Folsom St, about 161 ft. Turn left onto Folsom St and it's a 0.2 mile walk to 200 Folsom Street, which will be on your right.

b) 11:08am or 11:44am - At Market St. and Hyde St. bus stop, catch the 7-Haight-Noriega Transbay Terminal bus. It will be nine stops and the last stop will be at Beale St & Howard St, which is where you get off. Head southeast on Beale St towards Howard St, it's about a 0.2 mile walk. On your left should be 200 Folsom Street.

You know just as an fyi, I will use the same patience that I haven't off-ed myself with this last year but I hope crying doesn't offend you ass-p. I am a semi high functioning emotional wreck and went straight into it this morning, if you can over look that then cool. I am also very much into not being seen publicly and have gotten very skilled moving around town this way.

A woman who lived in my building knocked on my door to make sure I am alive, she is kind and loving and she has offered to help.

She knows the owners of the cookery here and they are all into the stuff in this thread.

We are going to be alright, we have more people interested.

We have team of people who have agreed to some death and destruction lol

Negotiations are... funny and some of the points amuse me greatly but we have two possible places before all else now.

This may not apply to the area where ASS-P will be going but there are free shuttle buses around certain parts of Nashville.

Its an express bus and I believe ass-p would have fun riding it, its a bit fast and I love Madison, been then a lot.

...It is pretty latte Sun. nite and I have just gotten to an Internet-connected device/now !
I could not do so all day of Saturday , or most of to-day...and I went to QUITE some/lengths in my attempts to/do so , to skip over/ this !
Unfortunately ,, my digestion/elimination problems manifested themselves/on Sat. , I went to hospitals , without much help , and my clothing has /been reduced somewhat !
Before all that , I was anticipating getting computer time Sat. , than Sun. . Now I have lost much communication/planning time .
I still want to go , but it will take much planning - And , it was brought home to me how much of a problem my present d/e situation is !
