It sounds like you are getting better and better, and the tone of your posts sounds happier. I hope things continue to improve

I hope they're helping. No one deserves to be crushed under the weight you were coping with.

I'm hoping you get healed. It's a slow, sometimes hard process but being healed is worth it

Hope you're doing well buddy.

Have you found that the treatment has helped in any way yet?

Hi Mark,

It has been a while.

Seems like years when it is only months.

Very proud of the way you have handled all of this.

You have shown great maturity in the face of suffering and torment.

So very pleased for you dear and hope to chat sometime when you have more recovered.

Take care.

Marknis,

I'm not here very often nowadays, but I'm following this thread to see how you're doing.

Cheering for you, buddy.

Bea

Thank you to those who posted recently. The TMS hasn’t been a magic elixir but it’s made me able to cry when I need to, want to spend more time with friends if I get the chance, and I was able to speak to someone I’ve had a bad history with at work about some things I wanted her to know.

The fact I still don’t have a girlfriend at my age (32) remains in my mind and since I’ve had to deal with my siblings’ family gatherings doesn’t make it easier. I tried Facebook dating for the last few months but the few conversations I’ve had with women have fizzled out.

Tomorrow is my final treatment. I just hope there will be lasting effects after all this.

I'm proud of you for seeking the treatment, and for the gains you've made toward self-compassion.

I hope it goes well and you continue to share your journey with us. Depression can feel very alienating, but many of us can empathise. We're rooting for you and wishing you all the best.
