I thought it was obvious from the context. "B&B" in this context means "Banned & Blocked" -- it's not only when the password on a person's account is changed, but when access from a particular Internet Protocol address is blocked. The former prevents the individual from logging into their old account, and the latter prevents anyone from accessing a website from the same computer.

I agree with most of this except I find that the leaving coming back and not likely to leave again thing is kinda off. Alot of members who leave come back then leave again. I guess it depends on what you consider coming back. You also gotta consider social isolation too. I also agree that there's nothing you can do to stop them or bring them back. If you try that will only make things worse and even if they came back. They wouldn't be happy about it. It's better to devote energy you'd spend trying to get them to come back coping with the fact that they are no longer there.

I do believe that someone may take a break from WP due to hurt feelings, or perceived (or real) harassment, but that does not mean that the member had ever decided to leave permanently.
Just needed time to evaluate whether the companionship and support gotten here is worth the occasional mistreatment.
For some it is not, and we have lost someone.
In Isabella’s case, many of us wanted to say ‘Goodbye’ or ‘Don’t leave’ just because her kindness frequently came at bad times when kindness was badly needed.
Her departure, temporary or not, opened a door to seeing, acknowledging, and perhaps trying to fix an ongoing problem which has gotten severe with some members.
Bullying.
No one was deifying anyone.
This IS a discussion group.
I see nothing wrong with either of the threads bearing her name.
