A little NIN goes a long way....

But I still have issues nagging me in the back, but they can wait.

0.

I have some surgery to be done tomorrow and I am a bit nervous. I decided to take somebody's advice and try calming myself be it watching a movie or music or something. I'm listening to Rainbow in the Dark a few more times before I decide to watch something.

1. Birthdays are like Christmas - they *can* make you feel wonderful, but if you're already low, they just make it even worse. I *should* be happy today, but I'm certainly not.

6. Good news-My uncle(who I live with) got a Wii for his birthday, and we spent all of yesterday playing it. Bad news-My arm hurts like a Motherf***er. Also went to sophomore orientation today at high school. It was disorienting, but there was one quasi-highlight. While going to get a bus schedule, there was a girl in line who was fairly attractive(for those keeping score, she was out of my league). I looked at her, our eyes met, she smiled, and then looked away at a paper. She then looked again, and more eye contact(I so rarely can keep eye contact for any length of time). Then she saw me making sure my little brother would stop running around, and smiled. Social progress-one small step at a time.

I plan on seeing my friend tommorow.
He has autism & I don't remember the last time I saw him.
We plan on going to a music festival at a music store.

7.
I went to ask a man I have seen around the store for ages how his homeless friend is as homeless friend has gotten very thin and ill looking and this resulted in over an hour of talking. Turns out he probably has Aspergers too lol, how typical that I had thought he might have... do we have an Aspergers radar or something? Anyway, we got on ok. He is more outgoing than me and seems to have better eye contact, but likes timetables and stuff like that. But it is cool to meet someone else.
