I really like Simon's cat (and Garfield), the guy mentioned he has 3 or 4 cats, and Simon's cat is a little bit of all of them, with a bit of exageration of course lol.

i rarely feel sad, but this video is very sad and spooky in a way.
it shows to me how life is so fleeting. most of the people in the video are young and healthy, and it is "now" for them all. what they are thinking about seems so important to them. each of them would have an idea in their heads of what they will have for dinner that night, and what they will do to amuse themselves.

men with pipes in their mouths and proud expressions on their faces that try to portray their stoicism.

kids pulling faces at the camera all milling about looking for small amusements to be had on the street.

ladies who took ages to dress themselves and do their hair, walking with upstanding poise and with a sense of dignity and propriety.

no one melancholy about their mortality (as no one is today)

they subconsciously felt like they would live forever as everyone does.

everyone long gone now. almost all of them forgotten. none of them in any living memory.
