I will still go to work for now, but like when is the revolution? Cannot say I would not want to take part.

What is it about men and televisions? I was talking to my boyfriend about my phone needing to be charged in the bedroom (I like to keep my charger in the bedroom so I'll always know where it is), and I didn't know when he was going to bed, so I just explained to him that my aunt might ring so the phone might wake him up. And he just grabbed the remote and went to turn the TV volume up. I personally think that is so rude when people just turn the TV volume up when you're talking to them. My dad's the same, and so are most men I know (yes I know women do it as well but it seems to be more likely in men because of their long attention spans when it comes to TV).

I've always found it rude and I get offended when people turn things up just because I'm talking. It's like there's no place for me in this world.

That would piss me off for sure. I mean I am autistic with an NT so I get sometimes I might over-explain or go on too long about some topics. But yeah I'd be totally pissed if my bf just turned up volume to ignore me. For sure if I was going on a bit too long I'd prefer he just tell me I am getting a bit carried away with it and would rather us focus on something more positive for a bit, or you know like gently tell me I am getting a little too doomy and gloomy and he needs a bit of a break. but like just passively aggressively turning up volume so he can't hear me would piss me off for sure.

As a person with ADHD I sometimes find it hard to focus on what's going on around me whilst having a conversation, so it's usually me who's being shushed mid-sentence because their favourite song has come on the radio or something. With me, if my favourite song comes on the radio I just say "oh I like/love this song" but still carry on the conversation, maybe doing a slight jig (dance) whilst doing so. I wouldn't expect everyone in the room to be quiet or suddenly turn up the volume without saying first that I like the song.

My boyfriend should have just said "I'm watching this movie", although I knew that already, but what I was saying to him had to be said. He gets obsessed with the TV - and when he's drunk it's even worse! He'd have conversations with the TV and won't have me open my mouth at all without the dreaded "sshh!" being said to me, which I hate. And if he turns up the TV loud when drunk and I take away the remote as a way of protesting, he'll shout and grab the remote and turn the TV right up really loud.

One time we had a time when the TV broke and we couldn't afford a new one for a while, and it was lovely.
I'm not a TV person, I don't really get engrossed in the TV and even if I am trying to follow something and my boyfriend talks, I just accept the fact that I've missed it.

I couldn't find my cat this morning before work (he's basically mine now, he sleeps with me and is completely attached to me lol) and panicked trying to find him this morning, and eventually he came out of hiding which was a relief. But when I came back from the store with my dad one of my aunts cats somehow got left out on the porch (they don't roam free, so that's not good) and we couldn't find my cat again, so I ended up freaking out again until he came out of hiding. Sometimes I hate cats because they don't come if you call for them. I thought he was outside and gone both times. :(

My brother-in-law texts at the last minute saying he's coming to town with our nephews and wants to grab a bite together. On Sunday July 3rd or Monday July 4th. In one of the most historically-storied regions in the whole freaking country. Practically drowning in Americana--so much so that we locals either stay home or leave town for the weekend to get away from the flood of tourists, for god's sake!

But no.

Oh, and he doesn't do real restaurant food unless it's meat. Or meat. Or maybe meat. And a pinch of black pepper makes it too exotic, so he wants something like McD's or Burger King. WTF??! ! There are hundreds of amazing restaurants around here with all kinds of food, including nicer versions of burgers and something more than French fries and a wilted salad for this vegetarian. I would gladly pay for the whole meal if we were to actually eat real food.

However, I'm NOT eating indoors, and even after thinking over all the outdoor places we might go to if we can talk him into it, I re-realize that anywhere we go will. be. jam. packed (of course he wants to do dinner) so it won't be any different, really. Hoards of people.

I don't understand how such an otherwise intelligent, fully grown man can live just a couple of hours away and be so fugging clueless about what a dumb idea coming here this weekend is. I just can't.

I feel bad being so angry at this nice guy, and bad about WTF-ing my husband over and over, but truly...there's just so much wrong with this picture.

(Scenario did not happen)
Post: I was walking along minding my own business when a person came along and spat at me. I felt grossed out and angry so I pushed him over.
People on WP: You shouldn't have pushed him over, yes he spat at you when you weren't doing anything but maybe he had issues going on and just wanted to let out his feelings, and at least he didn't hurt you.

Post: I have issues going on in my life that is causing high stress and anxiety for me, and as I was walking out I spat at a person who was walking by, I just couldn't help myself. He pushed me over. Ouch.
People on WP: You shouldn't have spat at him, that is wrong. Taking out your feelings on a random stranger is inappropriate and if you do, they'll typically do it back. Yes you didn't hurt him but spitting is disgusting and is gross so you shouldn't have done it, no matter how angry you might be feeling inside.

Why is the Aspie party always wrong here?

I broke down earlier because I'm getting so burnt out and can't handle all of the responsibilities that are quickly piling up on me, and I ended up crying so hard that I puked.

I wish I could move and get away from that f*****g loudmouth baby upstairs that's always screaming. I hate the f*****g thing. I don't care that it's "just a baby", I wish they'd live elsewhere. Why did the landlords have to put people with a BABY into the apartment upstairs?

Also the fact that they're black...and before you get excited and delete this post calling me a stupid racist and making me feel bad, hear me out first. A black person himself told me that black people have heavier bones, so the people above us walk very noisily like elephants probably because they're heavy-footed.

Oh, I hate them because they are so noisy. It causes panic attacks and then me and my boyfriend end up arguing because he thinks it's easy to just ignore it. But I can't ignore. Telling me to ignore something is like telling me to fly. I can't do it. I don't have the filters in my brain to be able to ignore unwanted sounds. Misophonia is such a b***h. :x

It is a medical fact that some people (due to race) may have higher bone density. This means they have a higher quantity of minerals in there bones. These minerals make bones stronger. This however does not really impact a person's overall weight.

FFS I really wish you would do your own research sometimes.

I don't like to think that you say these things purposely to offend people but your above statement was indeed an archaic racialist remark.

African-Americans
Bone mineral density (BMD) and fracture rates vary among women of differing ethnicities. Most reports suggest that BMD is highest in African-Americans, lowest in Asians, and intermediate in Caucasians, yet Asians have lower fracture rates than Caucasians.

How dare you call me racist. You used to be my friend here, now you seem to lecture my stupidity.

Getting a fact slightly wrong about bone density Vs weight is not racist, just an honest mistake. Why do people get all excited about this? Just correct me politely and move on, instead of making me feel like a racist ret*d.

I hate being in cars. They stress me out because they're so dangerous. I feel like I'm going to die every time I'm in one.

That's extremely rude!

This might have been excusable behavior back when I was little, when all TV was live and recording was not commonplace, so, by talking to him unnecessarily, you would have been forcing him to miss a possibly-crucial part of his show.

These days, however, he can easily pause the show, while you're talking to him, and/or rewind to see whatever he might have missed.

I'm so incredibly sick of people on WP complaining about still being virgins that I just want to scream at them "Then go commit incel terrorism already!!" but that would get me kicked off the site for sure. Almost every I log in there's some new post about why some people are virgins in their 30s. I'm 48 and I don't care if I stay a virgin for the rest of freaking life. Of course I'm a woman so that means nothing, but women get ridiculed whether they are still virgins or if they're being sexually active. The human race makes no sense whatsoever.

Two things I've noticed from many of those types:

1) They dismiss the struggles of women who share their situation, regardless of orientation. This also often extends towards gay men as well.

2) If there was a physical, in-person incel club and one female member decided "f**k it, these guys insist it should be easy, tonight's the night, right in front of everyone" odds are the entire room would turn quiet and awkward and the only reason one fewer virgin attends next week is because she stayed home.

I know that second one is kind of flippant but from where I'm standing it seems absurd to reject the struggles of people struggling just like one's self because one refuses to consider that the person is being honest because they're convinced the world can't possibly work that way.

Sneezing, sneezing, sneezing.

It freaked my boss out.
It freaked her clients out.
It freaked people out because it's mistaken for COVID.
It's giving me a headache.
It's giving me ear pressure.
It's been disrupting me from work.
It's giving me a sluggish mind.
It's fricking disgusting.
It's obstructing my sleep.
It's obstructing my breathing all day long.
It's giving me a lot of stress.
It's pissing me off.

Meds doesn't work.
Wasted like 2 rolls of tissue paper.
Masks were soaked and ruined.
My breathing feels damn raw and it'll eventually damn hurts to breathe if it keeps up.
