To feel this bad about it I've had to have a bad history. It wasn't with her. We do have a lot of positive history together and I know that this is the same kind of slump that I've had before. It's a lot more like we have to work together against forces that are just plain driving us nuts.

A familiar sensation. Could an understanding of the nature of said forces enable any constructive response? This is of course frequently not the case, still, just a thought. Sorry if this has already been tried repeatedly by you in vain and this post is therefore insulting.

You're doing fine, Alex. Trouble is, actually, that our pain and depression can feed each other's.
