Yeah, I was fine. The cliff was only about 10 feet high and slightly slanted. I did it more than once. My legs may have been sore, but I can't remember if it hurt or not.

I wrote little books and sewed them together. My school librarian allowed me to put pretend "library cards" in the back of them so other kids could sign them out of the library. No one did, because they were small and fragile, but I used to like putting pretend names on the sign-out slips and feeling like an accomplished author.

Too many to count, but if I had to name one, it would be the two summers (1999 and 2000) me, my parents, and cousin had season tickets for the Buffalo Destroyers arena football team! Between that and seeing the Buffalo Bandits win the 2008 National Lacrosse League Championship with said cousin, I'm so glad I was able to have such happy memories with her before she succumbed to opioids in 2012 :cry:

The library card idea is ingenious and hilariously sweet! When grownups notice and accommodate and join in kids’ interests it is so memorable.

It’s a big deal fr an autistic kid to trust you with their interests n include you! It’s an honour.

I gathered grasshoppers at Texas and put them in a big pickle jar with some grass and sticks (I think there were sticks). My brother helped as I recall.
My little sister later broke the jar by dropping it.
They were freed.

I remember that as children we thought the children who had McDonald’s toy sets completely collected were the most enviable of beings

I have fond memories of the McDonald's and Burger King playgrounds too. My dad filled two duffel bags and an old suitcase with fast food toys thinking they'd be worth money someday :lol:

I enjoyed sitting in the window seat of planes (if it has a window). I still do for the scenery and just the enjoyment of being able to have sunlight if there's any.
Oh, and I like some turbulence.

While Hershey Park is still in business, unfortunately, the Turnpike ride no longer exists :(

I thought it would be fun to take my bird cage outside so my budgie bird could have fresh air. Then I decided to let him sit on my finger for even fresher air! Then ... how fun would it be to shake my hand, so he could fly!! ! :roll:

The joke was on me when he flew away and I cried for a week.

Miraculously, we found him in the neighbour's carport. He lived for another year or two until my mother cooked him.

How come it has taken this long to ask - why did your mother cook your budgie? 8O

My father brought home a budgie and then a few months later a cat. The cat loved to jump and climb. Budgie moved into my bedroom and my brothers hamster moved up on top of the fridge. Dad next brought me a garter snake but my mother made us release it. :(

Built a tree-fort across the river from a new apartment complex. When the residents looked out their windows, all they saw were trees. When I looked at the apartments, I saw a lot of naked people doing things I didn’t understand...

having one, getting around or going as fast as you could
i had made a friend, i let him play with my "step" or we'd go to his house, most often, and played things as cutting up old newspapers and crafting things with that (working the scissors and glue :ninja: )
