My brother stopped working in mid-March when his company closed. This is the longest break he's ever had since he started working there about 35 years ago. He desperately needed this rest because he's a workaholic. I've appreciated being able to have long chats with him on the phone, rather than quick text conversations which were only about urgent questions. He seems so much happier, even though he says he's yet to fully relax or feel accustomed to the change. I wish he could or would retire early now that he's had this time off.

that is good indeed!

Global collaborations on SARS-COV2 vaccine research and trials are changing the way science is done w/ far faster and better cooperation and communication etc reducing time lines and making data transparent and available to all.. which is pretty cool as this is far from the only global threat to humanity that experts in their fields are going to have to work together to find solutions to ASAP. It’s pretty cool to think that as time goes on, our collective efforts will be able to make bigger, better, faster, cheaper impacts. Especially as people continue to refine and improve the collaborative problem solving process further and further until it’s real time and fluid.. so cool! 8)

People are going to great lengths to help with shopping that I need because I don't have a car. For things that are not readily available on line.

My cooking is improving as I don't eat out and I am enjoying trying out new recipes.

Working in my garden more, it looks really pretty.

My friendships seem to be strengthening as we miss each other and need each others support in this crisis.

I am spending much less money because I am cleaning my own house now and don't do random shopping anymore.

My laziness has been terrible for the rest of my body, BUT, it’s been really good to rest my shoulder and let it heal. It’s not perfect but soooo much better. 8) Once I strengthen everything up again it’ll be really good.

There are some kids that get bullied in school all the time, and home schooling has been a great break for some of them. Some kids that can't focus in class due to noise the others make can also concentrate better at home.

A+
totally true !
and adults can also bully..
especially when they know the kid cannot tell others due to inability to communicate
(of course reverse where kids found school as an escape from an unstable/abusive domestic situation or torment of bad parents/caregivers, must also be true)
