The application deadlines for nearly all the schools on the West Coast have passed, so I could be stuck in Wichita Falls for the long term.

The only city touching the Pacific where I still have a chance of attending college is Honolulu, Hawaii--and that place is expensive as hell, plus I don't know if it's a liberal stronghold.

Whilst I'm not in my middle years yet, that sounds exactly like me. I was good from 6-12, then I kinda rolled down the hill when I reached 14 or so till I'm...here.

Around 6... but with a feeling of sorrow and also a great pressuring up feeling that wants to go further than 6... at the same time a feeling that wants to drop below 6.

I'm not sure what number. Not -10, far too angry for that (and not at myself), but nowhere near +10.
