I hate to say it but I f*****g hate the Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life remake. I honestly wanted more of a remaster of it. They changed too much and one of the things I adored was the graphics and now it's their sh***y, generic ass, uwu cutesy chibi-esque design for everything. Why the f**k would you ever do that to this game? The characters and environment look so different. And the music is so different + they changed the title screen music to some boring ass acoustic guitar song, which was my favourite song from the game. I actually hate it and I am so disappointed. I didn't even play past getting the cow because they even changed the cows moo! Why! Their moos were so cute! I immediately turned the game off then.

I completely detest this "Pull yourself up by your bootstraps" nonsense.

When i look at the economic landscape, the lack of Real options, i always think to myself; please give people the tools to be able to succeed.

Now Twitter seems to be on its last legs, there is a wave of Twitter refugees swamping Mastodon. That's fine but many of them are throwing their weight about, complaining that Mastodon isn't like Twitter, demanding the same features, moaning that the site is boring and slow, saying they are only on Mastodon because Twitter is breaking.

Mastodon is run by UNPAID VOLUNTEERS. They don't have to fit in with the world's expectations of what a site should be like! They can't anyway, they have their own lives to live and they can only work on the site in their spare time!

It's very annoying. It's rude to barge into a new site saying all those things and expecting to be treated like royalty just because they deign to grace us with their magnificent presence for a few days. You wouldn't do that in someone's real life home so why do it online? It's p|ssing me off a lot!

Still kind of pissed and kind of feel lowkey gaslit over something stupid. I hate being gaslit over dumb s**t and having words shoved into my mouth.

"You might be less tired if you move around a bit," You mean like all day everyday at work, where I move 200 pound bins of s**t w/ a hernia and do absolutely f*****g everything while my coworkers do jack s**t? Yeah, don't insinuate that I'm lazy just because I'm not doing 20 million different things during my weekend off because I'm in pain. Thanks.

Oh FFS I give up.

I try to be supportive, helpful, kind to people. But 9/10 people take it the wrong way and pick holes in whatever I say. I tried to support a busy mum online today but she just got offended because whatever I said seemed to be wrong. This happens so often, mostly with women. I try to be supportive but they only see it as negative or something, I don't know.

I give up. I'm not going to say anything supportive anymore as it is always taken the wrong way. Why bother. Any time I see someone struggling, I'm just going to look the other way as however I try to help, it's misunderstood and 'wrong' somehow.

2 weeks ago I decided to play an old online game I have not played since I was a kid.

I have been having fun playing this old game even though I am now a fully grown adult and I am usually too busy with work to play video games.

Long story short, everything has been going ok with the game until I decided to join a game clan. I exchanged discord tags and joined the clan's server.

I get invited to the voice chat where there is a group of guys and then everything goes wrong. They were all bantering back and fourth and I am just there making awkward silence and not being able to "banter". The clan leader tells me "I don't know man, you are kind of weird. I can't tell if you are trolling or not", and then he kicked me out of the discord.

This is so frustrating for me. Although I communicate "ok" in a professional job setting. It seems I have not overcome my complete inability to socialize "spontaneously".

I don't know if I have autism, or poor social skills, or issues communicating due to trauma, or just some combination of the above but in moments like these I feel so different and alienated. It is disheartening to be this "bad" at socializing and "bantering" as an adult.

I don't believe I have autism but maybe that is me trying to avoid reality. Next week I am going to look for a therapist that can properly administer the test and diagnose me. I have not wanted to get a diagnosis out of fear. I would hate to know that I am medically limited, but I have had enough. I rather know why I am the way I am than continue to pretend I am "just like everybody else"

Well not really a rant but I was telling my friend about the horrific scene in the Witcher, not the details but that it was shocking and upset a lot of people. She insisted on seeing the scene, then complained at me for not telling her how awful it was! Erm...I did tell her! If you don't want to know the answer, don't ask the question.

I bought a box of baking soda that's for shaking on carpets before you vacuum. It takes any smell away and it's labelled as being for pet care. I have new kittens so I assumed it would be a good idea.

I use regular baking soda for lots of smell-related things but this was a bigger box and I assumed it's extra strength or something, if it's good in carpets and with pets.

I shook it out and OMG it's scented. WTF. WHO PUTS SMELL IN BAKING SODA??! ! It's not necessary. That's the whole point of it. It absorbs the smell from other things. It's supposed to be unscented. Also this is for PETS. Pets can't be exposed to chemical scented products especially air-borne dusty stuff. Cats in particular are so sensitive to smell they can get ill. I vacuumed it up ASAP instead of waiting 15 minutes like it said. I now have a migraine. I had to take my kitten out of that room where she's on quarantine from the boy kitten. I had to move her giant playpen from my carpeted room downstairs so she could be kept away from the boy kitten. It took me 20 minutes just to fold it up and move the litter / water from it downstairs on separate trips.

Who the heck invents this totally useless crap and don't they have brains?!


Oh and now I'll have to smell it again to clean out my vacuum canister and it will poof out all over the room.
I'd do it outside but it's freaking raining.
