12 hours one way.

Ohhh!! Holy hell. That's far. I was thinking a three hour drive might be reasonable.

I could possibly get my dad to meet me halfway.

To the guy who asked us to 'step back' out of his line of sight at the concert:
Ah, ok, you were seated [ i]outside[/i] the pavilion, not in the seating area. If you're seated outside the seating area you're kind of free to sit where you want, so you can move.
I was standing where I was because I have a disability, so I'm sorry, but we weren't going to move to please you.
If you wanted to see so badly you could have offered us your seats, which incidentally, you removed from the seating area.
Nice try but bad luck to you.

Btw the concert was excellent.

God, I want to just punch multiple people in the f*****g nose. I don't even care if this gets removed. Some people deserve a good punch and to get put in their place, and I'm not afraid to say it. Smug a**holes get away with too much s**t now and have no repercussions for it.

My sister thinks the tiny hole near the floor in the bathroom is making the electricity bill be so f-n high, and not the fact that one) it's been hotter than hell here for MONTHS, two) she keeps the AC on 69F! and three) the house is totally unprepared/uninsulated for keeping the heat out (like, DUH, when the power went out, it got up to 95F INSIDE, even with the house closed up tight for 2 days) Plus, four) there are TWO fridges and TWO fans and FIVE? devices constantly on. Oh, and she ran the washer and dryer for hours and hours IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DAY that one weekend, going in and out of the garage, letting all that hot air in there get in, and the cool air get out. OH, and there's a massive gap under the bathroom door, like it's not even shut (she taped a note on the door in rage lettering to keep it shut) AND THE FRONT DOOR...
AND THE TREE IN BACK IS NO LONGER THERE TO CAST SHADE ON THE HOUSE OMG!

I want this damnable reproductive phase to end.

It's ruining my schedule.
It already ruined my sleep schedule. It broke my months long streak.

It's making my stressed and tired for no apparent reason other than it's doing it's own thing. It frustrating.
It's like any sensory burden I have to manage, and fail to regulate because I'm still fricking searching in the damn dark with this damn body.


I want it to stop.
It's not like I'm in need nor in a right time to desire to have children. Why not just... Get rid of it?

If I were to choose between being cognitively consistent and emotionally stable for decades and possibly for the rest of my life -- from the option of having biological children...

I'd choose the former.
I want to live a life. Not cope with whatever shite this is.

If only there's a very naturally healthy or a medical option for it.
But it's either putting up with this, or the unhealthy option of putting up with something else potentially worse just to supposed to prevent this.

I agree with you other ladies. Periods are really horrible. I hope you can find relief. For me it was the Mirena coil.

I am so very glad I'm in or past the menopause. Although that has it's own problems, I'm looking forward to never having another period.

On another website, I used a moderator's real first name (not his member name) to ask if he was around because I had a question only he could answer, and he immediately issued me a 3-day ban for "doxxing".  He never did ask me what my question was.

I don't know whether to laugh or scream.

At least now I know he is an authoritative jerk who is more interested in applying the rules than in helping out a member.
