Sickened by ~'I miss the [*]early[*] 2000's [music]' comments on YouTube >:I . Seriously?!. It was pretty much the 'vapid-ness' of the late 90's in that it wasn't too meaningful and kind of sticks out as gaudy today.

The stupid way ppl don't care to understand or realize about 'nostalgia cycles' and how the treatment of anyone under 18 is considered my less valid b/c of that. >:I Am I suppose to agree when we get to the point of 'I miss late 00's music so much' b/c some fools don't realize that information preservation achieved the nigh-ideal state it's at now and b/c there's too dense to realize/click with how they only are more likely to say such things b/c of social media's influence?!.

Comment by Rakib_khan about a comic book series about an investigator who looks into a mall shooter, highlighting how terrible it is that social media makes things so banal.

Seriously!?. Is this like how ppl don't attach relative marginal movements like 'real deal flower children' hippies to the 60's and disco to the 70's?--it's not until longer after the rather unstimulating or unnoticed event/fact that you 'harness it' b/c you need it for something (environmentalism or making party scenes better).

:| Not too sure if this posting o'mine aged like wine or otherwise, I could wonder as a teetotaller yet as for the web comic link, I'd think that Epictetus and other Stoics would regard such statements of apathy to be prevalent variations of the antimony of the liar , even if it'd've been several centuries after the apparent making of the Epimenides paradox (an arguable early example of the liar's paradox) .

Sleeping inability puts me in a position where I can't quite do chores but I can't slumber sooner as to better wake w/the energy and initiative to do the chores before work -- f--k the ~< 3 hrs of daylight which start becoming rote from here until about March..=_= it can't be emphasized enough how pejorative saying 'go touch grass' is when so much of the developed 'global north' succumbs to the kind of confinement which comes from lacking daylight, discouraging temperatures and unencouraging terrain for more or less half the year ! !.

:x D--n those saying that one get tiresome !.

is that the worth of everything ?

your daily data collecting
your daily gooddoer adherance

Its just like the bloody housing association to provide us with a piece of equipment that you can't replace the flipping batteries to.
I mean what the heck am I supposed to do with the flaming thing. Do I just wait indefinitely until it stops chirping or shall I smash it up in the carpark with my baseball bat

Cocking chancers!

What is the item that is causing the problem?

My experience with housing associations isn't great. No electricity. No heating. Bathroom sink disconnected. Generally I prefer renting off councils.

It's a carbon monoxide detector
Started chirp on Saturday morning so I tried to open it up to get to the battery out but it's built in

The things wrapped up in a spare duvet chirp chirp chirping away lol

Fancy giving us something you can't replace when the battery goes

This housing association is a load of knickers

Might be carbon monoxide in you flat. Have you got gas central heating? I had one fitted in my last flat and the battery life was 10 years. I would phone the housing association and tell them to check it out.

It's the time of year where my overly needy friends want constant contact. I'm basically just ignoring my phone. I don't understand the need for constant contact/communication. Go have your own life! It's difficult enough to deal with the rest of the year. I really wish I could have a few years of no xmas (at all, anywhere) around me. I don't need more stuff. I don't need more obligations. I don't need to know your life (kids, pets, spouses, etc) story for the year. We can visit or catchup when it isn't this season. So the grinch says to please bugger off.

Had to come face to face with my worst fear when someone I know ran to the toilet to be sick and then acted like it never happened and just talked normal to everyone after. Very bizarre. Before it happened he handed me paper and a pen for something so I've been afraid of germ spread ever since. Kept my hands away from my face until I got to a non contaminated bathroom to wash my hands and sanitise my phone. I will not be able to relax until atleast Friday. I'm f*****g terrified. I have a busy week this week and travelling to see friends tomorrow so being away from the safety of home while waiting for schrodinger's disease spooks me a lot.

Oh my God, what a nightmare. I'm so sorry. Hopefully the reason your friend was sick wasn't from anything contagious.

It occured straight after we talked about his nephew being sick over the weekend, and also about a meal we went to the day before being subpar and a bit gross. He has bad experiences of stomach upset from the same pub, and I think hearing those experiences be described triggered something. And I'm still fine 2 and a half days later. I think he just has a hair trigger.
