So you've been to the future? Now that's interesting :D It's the only way you can have already been my age, 'cause I'm older than you!

This is true. It's like for most people, we can't say I'm very smart without looking arrogent or I'm very pretty/handsome without looking arrogent. It's ok for people to stay that stuff about us and it's ok for us to say it about other people but we must never say it about ourselves. It's un unwritten taboo.

being seen as "out of someone's league" when you're interested in them says little about your qualities though. it only says that they feel that higher standards are going to be expected from them than what they believe they can meet or what they are willing to meet, which makes you unapproachable from their perspective

Has not the Creator imposed upon us a sexual peak at 15-25yo for men and 30-40yo for women?

In answer to Retrogamer. If I meet someone else this weekend I'll move on. I'm not waiting around for someone who just continues to drag their feet. I like him, if he asked me out I'd say yes, but I'm not waiting.

I don't trust online dating. It doesn't feel right for me.

There is a long hallway in front of you, with lots of closed doors. Your mind has closed most, if not all of the doors, for fear of discovering the unknown. Walk around and open them, explore what's behind each of them - all the surprises and possibilities.

Or you can stand there and leave all the doors shut, never to know what could potentially change your life.

Right you are!

http://www.everydayhealth.com/sexual-he ... tions.aspx

"While Planned Parenthood says that the sexual prime for males is around age 17, and that females' sexual prime is around age 30, these ages actually reflect the genital prime, when sex hormones (testosterone in men; estrogen in women) are highest. But in general, both men's and women's sexual performance will peak when they feel most comfortable with themselves and their sexuality. Though this tends to happen between 40 and 60 for both men and women, it can really happen at any age, depending on the person!"

Even so, when I walk into a night class where I am at least 25 years older than everybody else, it feels like walking into a wall of testosterone and the guys have only one topic: sex. I'd hesitate to call it Myth, when so often I run into it as a reality. Though I gladly concede that there are other factors in each individual.

Be patient Kraftie. I'm sure it will come in a few years.

40 was when mother nature flipped the switch from young man to old man, for me. the testosterone went south at that point.
