Fnord, if you are over "haters" and not asking for understanding, what I'd the purpose of this thread. Is it to talk about the "haters", because that isn't a haven topic.

Looking at other sites, I see that your reputation for being crushing here on WP proceeds you. You've got quite a fan base on one trolling site (kiwi farms) and are frequently described as a bully on other autistic forums (that see WP as toxic).
Isn't it manipulative of you to start this thread, with your track record?

To encourage reform?
To vent until you've had your fill?
To take the same tact as the OP, the approach you have been vehemently opposed to and dish it out to him?
To rid WP of the OP through bullying?

The approach and rationale has wider implications, though it depends obviously on what your goal is and whether you are attempting to set a precedent for how we should remove autistic members.

My main interest/aim in all of this is WP and its sustainability.

My approach is to try to be the change I wish to see in the world.

Brigading happened during the discrimination against self diagnosed people here in 2014/2015. Of which I've mentioned before Fnord was a key proponent of, there were many that took inaction as a stance then too. However Ive seen concrete evidence of Fnords potential to alter his way of interacting with the self diagnosed.

The valid points of both sides were lost to the group think and many members were lost then also.
This type of division is what I'm against.
