I am so very sorry to hear your grandmother has passed away.

Indeed. The lives of the ones dying from Covid-19 is on the hands on the governments' failure worldwide to take it seriously enough and the selfish people who refuse to stay in quarantine spreading it to others and possibly vulnerable individuals.

In way I’m glad she passed when she did and didn’t have to deal with this from a nursing home.

My work cut hours(like that’s going help) they want me to call back to agree to coming in earlier so I get my 4 hours, but I don’t think I should go at all. My mom is told to avoid people by her doctors. It doesn’t seem responsible for me to go and interact with hundreds of people who think it’s fake and so go out sick.

School bus driver who showed symptoms tested positive for it. He worked even showing symptoms and drove 240-300 kids during that time. Officials say kids likely won’t be infected >.> but they also said the person was a administrator who didn’t have interactions with kids. Those kids then got off from school and ran around town playing with other kids.

Selfish people.
Kids could start showing symptoms soon if some aren’t already

This sounds so stressful Sly, and not a good situation to be in for your mum, it is nice to see your posts again though.

Instead of being in the technically refusing work category could you go out sick? With anxiety for government purposes regarding housing/supports, but not give a specific symptom to your boss, more a version of the truth, something like... "I've been feeling unwell the last few days, with all this Coronavirus going around I dont want to risk being responsible for infecting our customers."
If pushed for details by the boss, say you're waiting on a medical appointment, but that you will stay in touch with updates.

When it comes to future employment... You were in the unwell category, not the uncooperative team player category, even if you dont get your job back, at least a reference from your current boss might be in a more favorable light.

It’s near impossible to get hired when I can only work 12 hours a week 4 hours a day.

I get housing assistance and they raise our rent due to my job it won’t be looked at again until next year, so Our rent will be higher and I won’t have the income to pay it, no money to buy any food. I don’t get any of my ssdi it all goes tI mom to pay bills so I won’t have any money.

And societal security is due to run out if money and be cut in half in few years.
