Yes. I haven't been to the doctor since I was too small to remember.
I understand how you feel! Normally I only go to a doctor when I have a specific problem. But right now I live in Massachussetts and the law says everyone has to have health insurance, and if you don't you have to pay the state a penalty when you file your taxes. I lost my job and can only afford "Commonwealth Care," and to get it I have to choose a "Primary Care Provider," in other words a doctor, and that means an office visit. No doctor is going to agree to be my "primary provider" without my going to see her! (And it would have to be a woman.)
I wish I could have Blue Cross Blue Shield because with that policy all you do is send in an application and you're covered for everything even if you don't have a personal doctor. But that costs over $700 a month and I just can't afford it.
I'm on the Wrong Planet. This site is very aptly named.
