Do you have times in your life when everything just doesn't make sense, and you get completely confused?

You try to analyze everything using your logical mind, but it just doesn't work. You get confused by your own thoughts. You get confused by your own actions. You get confused by almost everything. The world used to seem in order. But all of a sudden, everything falls apart. You want to clean up the whole mess but you don't even know where to start. You don't even know what is wrong. And you feel stupid. You are so confused that you start a thread on WP to ask for help but you don't even know what you are writing.

You are confused by my words? ME TOO. *hits myself*

I saw your profile says neurotypical; before I looked at that I was thinking "yeah, sounds like what my ADD does to me."

You know what? When I signed up for WP I thought I was NT. Now I am not that sure anymore. See how confused I am.

I used to get confused on q3dm10. ;) Haha, just kidding! I like your avatar.

In regard to confusion, a lot of people out there think that there are limits to human knowledge and questions we can never answer. In times when I've worried about that, I've held fast to assured knowledge, such as the basic claims of logic and mathematics.

I have not been where you are now but I sympathize.

Is it possible your life views are changing? You know, when you thought something was true but found out it wasn't. A good example is when a child finds out there is no Santa or Easter bunny.

Just a thought.

What ever your going through don't hurt your self over it.
Things will get better in time.

That could be the reason. Uh, no, that IS the reason! I feel like I have been discovering a lot of important things that I have never realized before, within a few weeks. That's too much to bear.

Well the fact that you are able to re-evaluate your views is a special thing! It will help you in the long run.

Most people get frightened by the way it makes them feel. This causes them to attack anyone who tries to show them another way of doing things. Then they end up spending most of there lives trying to avoid it at any cost. In the end it that cause a lot of sadness because change is inevitable.

If this is what is causing it you can rest assured that it will pass and you will feel better for it.

If you feel the need to vent or talk about it further then feel free. Change is a scary thing!

Something I do when I find out something big is I try to understand the reasons for it. Often i turn to religion and higher meaning to find the answer.

If you don't believe in such things you can use logic and science and psychology to find the reasons things are the way they are.
