I had had a really rough week starting last Wednesday eveing which has been non-stop crumbling.

1. A so-called friend online told me that I could not set foot in the same book store if he told me the location
2. I drop a dish in the sink and break it
3. I loose priveledges to stay at my aunt's house alone when she is home because I disobeyed something
that she told me not to do. Now I have to stay in a respite situation with a cool lady who believes in me.
4. A co-worker who takes me home afterwork's car broke down.
5. I messed up on on a project at work only on a chance of three attemps and now I am not allowed to do it.
(I feel like I had no chances to approve in that area).

I think I am finally understanding that I have Autism and as many NTs and other disabled person say about me is that I am disabled and will never be able to have the unlimited opportunities that they have.

Is that true?

Two misconceptions.

First, you're not disabled. You're different from the majority. You already have some skills in learning to cope with that. If you doubt that fact, spend 30 minutes of your spare time listing positive skills you have that help you cope with the NT world.

Second, no one has unlimited opportunities, except perhaps God. Everyone has the limitations placed on them by birth and their circumstances. The important thing is to recognise the opportunities you do have, whatever they are, and make the most of them.

Everyone makes mistakes. It's easier to let these cloud a week where most things probably were fine. Think about your achievements, and if you're feeling unhappy, try to find something to do that will cheer yourself up. As they say, treat yourself!

Best wishes... :)
