Ok so I'm having a crapy weekend and were going through shops I'm lowering my head shedding a few tears kinda looking at my parents, and they just ignore it and continue shopping, so I walk out without telling them why and sit slouched in pain and sorrow on the cold deselet bench; so what do they do continent walking on and say Are you cominG without even a glance back at me, I'm feeling lonley and like s**t, and very post off at them! Now here's my question do I have a right to be pist that they go about like nothing happened or not? Granted they pay for my lifestyle and bend over backwards at times, but I don't know if that really cuts it and this isn't the first time this has happened. I'm think of moving to my grandparents house which I know would hurt there feelings but I don't know I need some advice?

You're over-reacting.

I've learned I can't assume people know what I'm feeling unless I tell them. Hopefully not in a way that's going to put them on the defensive.

BTW NomadicAssassin I have totally been there. I can remember a family holiday meal and everyone was talking and laughing and I was just seized with this feeling of grief and alienation and I left the table to go have a private cry. It wasn't their fault I felt that way but I hoped someone would notice and comfort me. People are too busy thinking about themselves to bother with the mind reading. It's still not easy to ask for what I need but I know I need to.

Are you sure they noticed your tears? Some people find it really difficult to notice such things.

People can be blind to someone's feelings just like us. And to expect them to know how we are feeling is so NT.
