Dad's all tired and wound up. He is in a really bad mood.
And as ever when this occurs, I am on edge. Almost like a panic attack.
Because if I screw up, if anyone screws up, he'll get angry. And I can't stand it when that happens.
I can't even escape to my room, I have to stay downstairs. All the things I would normally do to calm down aren't doable at the moment.

Hug the kittens - No. One of them had an accident on the floor and he is threatening to send them outside. If I touch them he'll probably go off at me again.

Run/jump around or do gymnastics to get rid of all this adrenaline(or whatever it is) - No. We just got new sofas, and the old sofas are currently in the space I would normally use for such purposes.

Play something on the PS3 or on my laptop - No. All the TVs are currently in use, and my mouse has been stolen -_-

Burst in to tears or go into meltdown - Hell no. Just plain no

Oh no....well, you could draw! I like to draw since it diverts my energy, plus it's a quiet activity. Sorry your dad's upset.....
Drawing/painting or making something helps when Lab Pet feels melty. Hope you feel better.

I love reading!

I've just finished reading the 3 Skulduggery Pleasant books.

to OP: I know the feeling of having a Dad on edge. IMO he has NO right to make you feel like that.

Do you have a colouring in book? That is always a nice way to relax.
