Moving out of my dorm?
Hi all,
I am really stuck and i suck at making decisions. I go to university, and have already moved out of home (even though a lot of my stuff is still at my parents house and i visit them over the holidays). I live in a dorm/college, and this is my second year of living here. A lot of my friends are moving out next year and i've been asked by some friends to move out with them, however, i don't know what to do. I know when i finish uni i will have to move out, but moving out now seems a bit daunting.
I really want to move out because i would like to say i live in the city where i attend university, so i have somewhere i belong. At the moment i don't techincally 'live' there, i'm just staying in a college while attending uni. I also don't live with my parents anymore so it's a bit confusing. Also, at my dorm we get meals and stuff like that done for us, and i like doing things my way. I think i should move out and get a house becuase i am 19 and i can look after myself, and i feel immature living in a dorm when other people are more grown up and have houses. People think people that live in dorms and colleges are immature and drink all the time.
However, I sort of want to stay at college cause i rather like my dorm room and my friends here that are staying, and the sports we play etc. I don't really like change that much so i avoid it as much as possible, and my dorm room might be better than a house, you know, grass isn't always greener and all. I am quite comfortable living here, but at the same time i want to move out...
can anyone offer any advice/insight?
luv,
Cad
