have a good one. And i don't think your alone. I had a birthday party when I was 5 and when I was 14. I don't remember my 5th party. But my mum invited my four closest friends that she new about when I was 14. Unfortunately the kids i spent the most time with when I was young were the bullies. So I spent my only other party with the 4 boys that tormented my the most. JOY! Anyhow, the point was to say you are not alone.

I speak for myself when saying tha ALL of Wrongplanet is with you on your special day.

I'm not looking forward to my next birthday, which is in a few weeks - partly because, like you, I'll be spending it alone. I'm tired of having crappy days at work, where I'm torn between not wanting to talk to anyone and wanting to just stay home for a few days and be self-indulgent. Neither of those is a great option.

But hang in there... I think we all have to. I'm told life gets better.

I'm sorry out your birthday. I know where you coming from. I just spent my 40th birthday sitting alone. At first it stinks and then you get over it. And then next year it starts all over again.

Could always go play in an online game on your birthday. Lots of RPGs and role players like to do little things in games and in FPS games its awesome feeling to mow down people.
