Did you tell her that you felt disrespected? I know that it should be obvious to her but telling her that the way she acted made you feel disrespected (spoken in gentle tones) might help prevent this happening in future. It was unfair what she did and by doing so she showed disrespect, I hope by gently explaining to her that what she did made you feel bad, that she will consider how she acts in future.
There are other ways of dealing with disrespect of this type, but this is the best opening step in my opinion.
Yes, we talked about it.
Similar has happened in the past.
She asked me to forgive her, and I said yes.

Problem is though, it soon connects to this:

The woman he is married to is making fun of him for it.
The man asks repeatedly for the woman to stop ridiculing him.
The woman waves her finger in the man's face and says "I'll use ridicule whenever I want to. I'll keep using ridicule. And you'll just learn to live with it"
(And that connected with what my first sister in law did to my brother - she went from ridiculing him to taking a knife to him - and then my reaction to this thing was what led to what eventually got me in the trouble I'm in now. Oh well, such is life)
That was about 3 years ago, but stuff like this brings it up to where it's like it happened 5 minutes ago.
And all the pain, heartbreak and humiliation comes flooding right back in.
As hurtful as ever.
I thought my marriage would be a place safe from that kind of thing.
What a naive imbecile I was, eh?
