In September, I've made a change overnight. I went to bed an angry and cynical punk and woke up a mild mannered Mod. I got a proper haircut that could be either spiked or Mod. I've put my hat back on my head and told the hairdresser that I will put my own product in my hair. I've never put a drop of spiker glue in my hair, since that defining moment. I did wear a studded cap for a while, expressing my Cockney Spirit. I've realised that I looked more like a Rocker, than a Mod, so I've stopped wearing it. I've found that I look like a young version of my favourite member of the original Kinks, circa 1965. I also find that the generation gap that I've driven between my parents and I, which was my own fault, is completly gone. My parents and I are now able to accept and appreciate each other, that much more. All of my friends have accepted the new or old CockneyRebel, as well. I had this one friend who had a hard time with the change at first, and he's now come around, two weeks ago. More people have been talking to me, as well. :)
