I hear the professional aspect of not having fun, lost of interest etc. but for me my only "depression" was I layed in bed for 3 months after the suspension and 12 months after my 1st friend died. Otherwise IMO while people say I'm "depressed" I need to get over my College issue IMO atleast I REALIZE there's a problem with upseting a Psychology teacher,Family,Friends, students, teachers, coworkers, bosses etc. EVERYONE! So atleast I realize there's an ISSUE!! !! So are you professionally deprssed or not? IMO it's what I'd call "depressive processing state" (kind of upset over the College issue but processing WHY it happen to me and how I can go about fixing it.) So what are your thoughts?

Yeah, I know a couple of people, myself included, who are defined by doctors as depressed - loss of interest, low enthusiasm, over-sleeping, appetite problems... but if you asked us personally are we depressed, we'd say "not really!" I don't know if it's just a matter of not registering internal feelings until they are at extremes. Like you said, I guess I only consider myself depressed if I'm completely shut down.

I was told I was depressed just because I was cooped up in my apartment with my obsessions and getting back into my routines.
