This has really bothered for some while, but when I was in school a few months ago, I randomly sweared because I forgot something, but then a guy said this in a ridiculous way; "It's not nice to sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaar!".

I instantly turned around and said; "Who the h*** do you think you are?! M***********! !"

Is it POSSIBLE to be any more STUPID?!

I can't believe GROWN-UP people like that exists, it's indeed a sad, sad thing, like how would YOU react?!

I think he was being ironic. He was playing the role of a stuffy person to be funny.

No, no teacher heard it, they would just give me a warning at first and then suspend me if I continued with it.

i think people who think at an average pace "swear" many times so as to cut down the the amount of "uhm's" and "ahhh's" and "errr's" etc in their sentences if they try to talk faster than they think.

eg:
ex 1: yeah i saw this bloody person sittin' in his f*ckin truck, and i said ...i said "f*ckin' get out of ya bloody truck..."

ex 2:yeah i saw this errrrr person sittin' in his uhmmmm truck, and i said ...i said "errrrr get out of yer uhmmmmm truck..."

many people cram expletives into embarrassing thought holes.

I swear so often. I got points off of my Creative Writing presentation for it.

I know one English teacher though who swears worse then I do - Only when we are alone. One day he saw a student he didn't like and he wispered to me "That kid is a F*cker". Many many other occassions like how the weather is "Going to f*ck us". He is a very intelligent man.

I guess my comment to you is that, how much one swears has nothing to do with intelligence.

I used to swear a lot as a kid, just to let you know.

I only swear once in a while, but when I was drywalling, I cussed like a sailor cuz that was how everyone else talked. Then came college. It took a bit of effort to cut down on the swearing.I have no choice but to swear less because one of my instructors gets really upset when people swear.Even the word "oh crap" upsets her.She is the chair of the program and our real estate instructor, so there is absolutely NO swearing of any kind in real estate.I just keep my mouth shut most of the time LOL.
