theirs?

They told me to stay as far away from psychiatric facilities as possible because I have a PDD, not an illness. They told me I had an autistic way of communicating, and that that meant I had a different way of communicating and relating to people. After prompting from me, they said autism wasn't bad, just different. They were curious about whether the stimulant my bf once gave me calmed me down or what, because they were considering giving me a stimulant to calm me down. They referred me to a clinic and other stuff for people with PDDs. But they kept me on the Abilify and Wellbutrin, and gave me samples. What's your experience there? Anybody? the doc said I had a mood disorder, and I think he said my mood disorder was not related to the PDD.

Not me, but they seem to know what they are talking about according to your post.

I was relieved but for some unfathomable reason I was also insulted... I normally don't seem autistic when I talk to people. they had to see me at my VERY WORST. It's embarrassing too.
