Hi I had an odd dream last night. I saw a train in my house then at a train station saw the same train and a friend got off it she was wearing a yellow dress (not womeny more child like flower type summer dress) and we were holding hands then we raced to a door she won then we raced again (not sure where this time) and then I woke up.

I frequent the site above and look at each item but was curious has anyone ever done a dream journal? I have an awesome memory so I remember my dreams 90ish% of the time and for months/years if they had a really profound effect on me which most do. The College issue and that Psychology teacher has popped into my dreams and the friend I mention above I dreamed I shot her and killed her with a shot gun not just a couple months ago!! !! I was curious about starting one. :-) (The friend above is the one now in College so it goes back to College AGAIN LOL!) (BTW I haven't seen this friend in months/years even.) (We Grew apart if you will.) :-)

I've kept a dream journal. It's a good way to start having lucid dreams, which are when you know you're dreaming. They're cool. :)
Additionally, my subconscious is very astute, and uses dreams to make pointed comments on things that my conscious mind tries to ignore.

When my older son (23) was in Iraq, I never had nightmares or even dreamt of him at all. He's back now and just fine. My younger son (9) who is now finally mainstreamed is doing well but I have nightmares about him almost twice a week...people kidnapping him, losing him in shopping marts, watching him fall into a teaming river and realizing I can't save him...the list goes on. Sometimes I hate to even go to sleep.
