I'm thinking about dropping out of my special ed class because it's way too fast-placed. the teacher seems to hand out flunker assignments most of the time, I don't have anything in common with most of the kids in there, and when you make a mistake, the teacher tells it out to the entire class.

I'm also thinking about closing my Facebook account because, like Myspace, it's just a big popularity contest. I'm pretty much the only one who doesn't have a exciting life, 300 or 400 pictures of myself or friends, and you know the rest.

Also, a lot of people have been pressuring me to getting into stuff like sports, video games, role-playing games, movies I can't afford to go to see, etc.. I'm not good at sports (and watching them literally bores me to death), I don't own any video games or systems (on one message board I go on, some of the members think emulated games are uncool). I just find RPGs kinda boring, and I have a lot of important things to spend my money other than going to see a movie every week.

I've been missing the old days of Wrong Planet already, when there was no offensive or controversial threads, mostly everything wasn't related to politics or religion, a lot of people offered to be your friends on here, etc.

I also miss The Golden Age of WrongPlanet. People were a lot more supportive, and there weren't as many hurt feelings. I remember when The Haven was a safe place to post. I miss those days. Things will never go back to the way that they were. There are three words that make up the title of my favourite song.

Such a Shame

Once bread becomes toast it can never go back to being bread again.

I miss the early 90's.

My main issues w/ this site are the bashing of other members (I don't care what other think of me luckily :D) & seems like a lot of men in particular (maybe women, haven't seen any from them yet) are posting their profiles & info to get a date & or advice! I honestly find the posting of personal info & photos to get a date to be just plain creepy.

If WP's "Golden Age" was the 90's I missed it by 10-20 yrs. :(

No I was just saying in general that I miss the 90's, not related to the WP discussion.
I missed WP Golden Age as well, I still think it's nice around here, can't miss what i never had or experienced.
