Good Friends
It depends upon what you consider good friends.
I have often considered people to be good friends, when in fact, they thought
differently. I would base it upon time spent together, and the efforts that I had
put into the relationship. For example, I used to count one woman as my good
friend. We knew each other for about 4 years. My daughter and I were invited
to spend Thanksgiving at the home of her family for 2 of those years. Her mother
knitted me a beautiful afghan for Christmas one year. I could go on, but the
weird thing was that she abruptly stopped communicating with m. I wrote her a
few times, but got no reply. It hurt deeply for years. But it just goes to show you,
with Aspies and friendships, one can never be sure!
