This morning as usual dad woke me up to take my pills. He said "Brandy" I said What's up I'm going back to bed. Then he goes off yelling at me (Forgot what was said saying what I said was rude etc.) and mention the 8 year old had a fever and might need to stay home for the day. (Since I didn't like the rudeness/yelling at me) I said Oh and went back to bed. (Mom was called at 1:30 to pick her up but thankfully she's within 5 min. of work/kids school so she picked her up and took her to work. I WOULD have watched her if he asked nicely something like "Hey your sister has been sick can you watch her today." OR with the "rude comment" of what's up something like "Well if it's no big deal can you watch your sister today etc." Something NICE instead of going off on my "rude comment" :-( I'm always saying something rude (a couple Sundays ago I was told "You know you've been nothing but rude today a rude little b***h!" I was again like Oh. (I tend to blow off arguments but they linger in my mind weeks/years later sadly. Even while shopping in the mall I made a comment which was wrong. and if I state my view on parenting the 8 and 10 year old sisters DON'T GO THERE OR ELSE! THEY HAVE THERE VIEWS PERIOD!

Zelda, maybe you should consider that your dad might have had a point.

After all, he was doing you a favour by waking you up to take your medication- you should probably have said thanks, not 'what's up, I'm going back to bed'.

Perhaps you were just groggy or something at the time from just waking up, but now that you are fully awake, I think you should apologise, thank him for bothering to wake you up (you're in your twenties after all and should be in charge of taking your own meds) and offer to take care of your sick sister if you are not otherwise busy.
