Here is what it is
I was diagnosed with the pseudoscience version by a quack when I was 13. Long story short, he had strong financial reasons to claim I didn't have Asperger's and that I was very dangerous. Why am I freaked out? Well here is what they use to treat that. Luckily my professional psychiatrist, my therapist and an independent evaluator said I had a clear case of Asperger's but I got so close. To paraphrase Stepheh King, I feel like I nearly walked through an elavator door without there being an elavator.
