My dad just closed on a new house for the family yesterday. It is about 1 mile from where I am now. My family began moving boxes today, and are planning on doing most of the heavy moving tomorrow. I have a rough draft for a very important essay due tomorrow, so I have to go to school.

What I am stressed out about is that I will have to share a room with my dad. There were some recent issues with my sister. Originally, she was planning on moving out to California with her "husband," but then they broke up. Then, she was planning to move to Ohio, but that also fell through for reasons unexplained. Now she is going to be staying with us. As I said, my dad just closed on a new house. The place has only three bedrooms.

Originally, me and my sister were going to have our own room, but with recent developments with the little sister mentioned above (not to mention the other sister haranguing my dad) I am being left out. I am stressed out because I will NOT be able to have the luxury of privacy (using computer, watching tv/anime, no video games, can't hang up wallscrolls, can't get away for much needed alone time from bats--t insane family, and things that if mentioned would get this post moved to the old fogey section). I will have to change bus stops and boarding times as well.

As I write this all, I savor the last few moments (I am up way late) of time alone, in my own bedroom. I am incredibly selfish for being such a f---ing introvert that I require this. I have not even brought up my stress with my family, because I don't want to bother them or make them feel uncomfortable.

That's too bad. Is the room you will be in too small to set up a shoji screen or something to partition you out your own space? Too bad your sisters can't share instead, but I guess no matter what happens somebody has to compromise.

Good luck! Moving is rough, even when everything is mostly predictable. Don't wait too long to talk with your parents, though, because it can turn bad. I wish you the best!
