Just started eating whatever you want?

Did it make you feel better?

I always eat whenever I want. Can't say if it made me feel better because I have nothing else to compare with.

My diet is very strict five days out of the week, the other two I eat whatever I want. But I work out a minimum of 90 mins every single day, unless I get sick. I feel physically and emotionally better since I stopped eating potatoes and white bread, or mixing carbs and proteins in the same meal.

If you mean just eating whatever constantly and getting fat? No, that would make me feel horrible. Fat people hardly ever get laid. :eew:

like anything, it makes you feel DIFFERENT.

I don't know what sort of diet you are referring to. I am referring to a reducing diet, you might not be.

I lost 80 lbs last year and put back on 40 of them. Do I feel better? Absolutely not.

so, just eat what ever you want a couple of times a month then get back on your diet the next day. this way you can feel different when ever you want to.

your mileage may vary,

Merle

Willard, what's the theory behind not mixing carbs and protein? What got you started with that?

I did that, for two and a half years. I'm now working on getting the weight off.

i used to eat whatever i wanted to eat, when i was younger and dumber. as the old saying goes, i could eat a french-fried shetland pony and still stay skinny. but when i turned 30 it was as though god above flipped the metabolism switch into the low-setting, and now that i am older and sicker and grayer and thicker, i am forced to eat much more wisely and within strict limits on calories, fat and carbs. diet everything. fat-free everything, and sugar-free/low salt everything. boring. i miss my youth. i miss drinking mrs. butterworth's syrup right out of the bottle. i miss eating bacon and sausage and cheddar cheese omelets and hash-browns and poutine. i miss REAL butter. :( and chocolate cream. :( and beef gravy with drippings. :( i will now go and gulp down some more cold water to kill the hunger pangs.

I tend to eat what ever I feel like but I try to include at least some healthy foods in my diet.

I don't pay too much attention to diet because the whole obsession peoples have with how much they weigh annoys me.
