Just recieved a prank call and I think its someone from WP

I just recieved a prank phone call by someone using a voice disguise to hide their true voice. They asked for me by name, and then said it was a long time since we have talked and have a lot of catching up to do. When I asked this person why they were calling me they said, why does anyone call anybody? I think this person may be from WP because there's a member here who I have had problems with in the past and I think knowsd my full anme and city I live in. I am a little freaked out by this, and I am hoping its just someone from school who happens to be drunk and nothing sinister.

Seriously though just have the cops trace it next time they call. Chances are it is someone stupid who found your name and number in the phone book and decided to mess with you. That happens to people quite often.

Weird. I think you might be jumping to conclusions though. On the odds, it's much more likely to be some stupid prank call, even from people not at your school than your stalker from WP.

I could be wrong here, but I think it is unusual for stalkers to 'stop and start' harrassing the same victim. If they had access to your number, they probably would have called you long ago (depends how far in the past the stalking happened of course).

In my high school, there was a fad for prank calls for a while. Not everybody did it, but if only a few did out of every school in the country for a couple of times each... that's quite a lot of phoney calls going around and you're just as likely to get one as anyone else.

My advice would be not to stress at all about it. Don't expect it to happen again. If it does, just block the number or even change yours and go unlisted.
