Disability rates reduction in Northern Ireland

Hi, I was wondering if any one has had any success in obtaining the reduction in Land and property services rates for anyone with a disability. I received a denied application and I'm not sure what to do next, as i dont believe that my application was taken seriously. AS I have noticed that when it comes to applying for anything northern ireland that my diability is not taken seriously. Anyone else experienced a similar thing?

I'm not from Ireland but I can tell you that in France, it's more or less the same: a lot of promises but not enough money to keep those same promises.

At least, it's what the gouvernement says.

... But it looks like it's still very easy for them to find the money to do their big fiestas
Petits fours and so on.

Well, trying to stay positive, at least they still make some good people work.

for the reply, its good see all governments are created in their ability to forget to cover all sections of the diasabilitty community. I am going to appeal the decision but also contact the equality commission in Belfast. I think a lot of the decisions made regarding people with our condition is that we have a "hidden" disability and due to the ignorance of some people they perceive our lives as easier than others with a physical disability
