a few times recently ive seen women being bothered by strange men in the city, like saying leering things to them, walking behind them saying things, or being bothering. It upset me as the women were alone and it seemed so disgusting for a group of strong men to scare a lone woman. I wanted to do something but did not know what. im very underweight and unfit so i couldnt fight them all, but something as simple as just being there as a witness or walking in so as theyre not alone to discourage them. i didnt know what to do at the time though and i thought walking with the woman would just make her think i was one of them and scare her and didnt know what to say. i want to sort myself out and be braver and cleverer, but if its just a remark as someone walks past its not worth being attacked for. :? what do you think.

One guy being annoying I can deal with. The time a strange guy followed me about a mile trying to convince me he was a rock star, I just had a funny story to tell later.

Two guys I don't know following me would make me nervous, though, you're right. Just be a good citizen and call the police if you see a situation that looks like it might really be dangerous for someone. That's more than a lot of people do, because people tend to assume someone else will have already done it, or that if everyone else is standing around doing nothing, there must not really be anything wrong.

I commend you for caring enough to want to do something.

Just watch the situation and if they do anything they shouldn't call the police immediately.

Respect. :)
