So to make another family post but this the Haven. Sorry, I asked mom if she made Hashbrowns for breakfast she said no she forgot I stood there my mouth agaped (thinking wow you didn't make hashbrowns) (I really like hashbrowns) Then dad says I don't do anything he's busy working etc. etc. (He CONSTANTLY tosses the you are lazy don't do anything issue at me) HONESTLY I was considering helping him with the yard but now IMO SCREW HIM! I DON'T WANT TO HELP CLEAN THE YARD! I thought of offering but now that he went off on me like that I DON'T WANT TO!! !! ! They wonder why I stick to my room all the time. Coming out I get rude comments which upset me. (I'm in tears so I run to my room) This is becoming a DAILY THING GUYS!) It's driving ME CRAZY!! !! !! !! !! !!

Relatives - it's the old can't live with them can't live without them bind. This too shall pass. But the world is divided into those who cannot and will not understand or approve, those who don't understand but will empower, those who want to understand but don't quite .. you can do the rest of the combos.

All I can say - based on my experiences, you are likely at least as hard for them as vice versa, AND this too shall pass. To this day nobody in the family gets me, nobody in my wife's family gets her, but at least there is siome distance.

If it is not clear,. you have my sympathy, for what that is worth.

go to college or get a job and move out?

Is it possible they do this to you every day because they know it'll send you running off to your room, and thus, out of their hair, so to speak?

Can you start cooking your own meals or having your own breakfast like cereal or oatmeal?

I decided NOT to have breakfast but make my own (Strawberry muffins) and they get mad OMG it's costing us double you don't eat what's in front of you etc. I ate 6 muffins (When I usually only eat 2 but I know (for me IMO anyway) muffins aren't good in the fridge then warmed up. So I ate all 6. Good advice though.

Is it possible for you to live in a dorm, at your college?

I have a friend named Jimmy John. He brings me sandwiches when I don't want to cook.

It's a small basic State College (Was called a Community College but changed since they now offer Bachelor degrees) I'll look into roommates though that's my plan for next week.
