My moods keep going from one extreme to the other. As far as I know I'm not Bipolar or anything.
I was happy and having a good time last night (thank you mr sockpuppet), but I feel depressed and insane/unstable today and everything that makes me sad floods my mind again.
Is it odd that I felt good so soon after what I did on Monday?

I don't know what's going on with me

Sometimes all it takes is someone's offhand comment or suddenly being reminded of something that makes me unhappy can down my mood. I guess we could always actively seek something that reorients our mood to something happier.

Dear blue_bean,

My mood fluctuate between the extreme everyday since high school. It's not bi-polar becoz bi-polar changes in months or years, not hours... I don't know what it is, but it sucks. The fluctuation has smoothed quite a bit after anti-depressant treatment.

It's hard when you're "indulging" in the negatives, I know how it feels, nothing can cheer you up. Even tho we all know that this will be gone and happiness will come again, we still feel sad.

Embarrased to say, but I found that the only thing that makes me happy when I'm upset is the guy(s) I like show that they care.

Have a good rest tonight, the sun will come out tomorrow =)

Melbi

I can't take my lexapro anymore, not after what happened. I'm scared of even looking at those foil packets now.

I think we all are monsters then with emotions so volatile.

Ok, I'm going to bed. If the weather is crummy all day tomorrow Melbi, you have some explaining to do :P.

I guess it can't be any worse than last Monday :(.

It's a roller coaster, there are the ups and then the downs. It's not bi-polar or anything of that sort.

It says it will snow here but I think that the forecast is actually for the next town, not this one.

Anyway, I think a lot of people have olatile emotions. I found when I turned 12 or 13 my moods started going all over the place. Is hormones i think.

I had emotional problems like that like 7 years ago & I ended up on meds for 5 years after having a breakdown. Are you having problems because of things going on in your life :?: There wer lots of things going that affected me. Are you currently seeing a doc & taking meds :?: There mite be things you can do to help deal besides that. I found learning & understanding myself helped. Finding people who I could talk about things with helped to. if you are anyone else needs/wants to talk; Please PM me

Been having similarly polarized experiences with my emotions over the past few weeks.

I found embracing the fact I had no control helped me. As I'd know that however awful I would feel, my mood would change completely in a matter of time.

I hope things turn around for you.
