Somethings I can manage, some things I can't.
The last few days I've had some anxiety over different things, but it just gets lumped together in anxiety attacks. Ah, fun.
I have come to terms with the fact that I will never have a significant other, that's find since I probably would just end up with anxiety trying to figure out how to deal with a significant other.
However my bestfriend and housemate seems to be extremely depressed over not having a significant other and has resorted to searching for someone on criagslist, after giving up on using some dating sites. This upsets me because she claims to be searching for "the perfect guy". However, she is far from perfect and has some.... personal issues she should really work out before she goes looking for a relationship that will obviously end in heartbreak. Of course logically I would have thought that she and I would end up together, but that doesn't seem obviously to her for some reason.
The main thing is that I have had nothing but dead end, crappy jobs that I get sick of rather quickly. Now I am a very intelligent person, who is capable of complex actions. However I have low self-esteem and, of course, anxiety over finding a better job. A job that I can do, earn a good living, instead of paycheck to pay check, and just enjoy the job. Or atleast do a job that I don't mind. But I just don't have the self-esteem to even apply, I just think I'll end up getting rejected. And I don't like to go through the trouble of being rejected, even from a job.
I am also trying to find another job, since the current job I have ends in September. But no one wants to hire someone who has a competing schedule. This is very, very frustrating and causes me great anxiety. Not to mention the true realization that if I get a job at a big store on the sales floor, I will have to deal with the noise of hundreds of people rushing around for hours at a time. Just the thought of it brings more anxiety to me.
I am feeling so very helpless lately, I am rather afraid of having a meltdown at my current work. Hopefully I can hide in my car while I cry...
I hope things get better for you. You deserve to have a decent job that you enjoy. Good luck with everything!

Try appliying at victorias secret. i know it sounds silly, but Its a great company, and They do hire guys, tell them you want a job in the back, and they will happily put you in the back room stocking and hauling things, you will never have to deal with people, and they dont mind competing scedules. Its entry level, so no special experience required, and everyone Ive ever met that has worked there have been really good people.
Sorry that you are upset, something will come along, just try out a few different things, or maybe think about taking some collage courses, and trying to find a carreer instead of a "job". entry level work is so exausting, but its not your only option.
I actually ended up going to school and getting an associates in technology. However this is where the lack of self-confidence comes in. Although I was in the top of the class and I have a pretty good grasp on how things work and how to fix them... I just don't have the self-confidence to go into the workforce with those skills and succeed with the pressure that such jobs would bring.
I am considering just becoming a career student... Just stay in school for most of my life learning, taking out grants and student loans. Although I don't know what I would do with thousands of dollars in loans when I end up with several degrees...
