Hi man, I know you've been a member for a while and we haven't talked a lot, but I know you're a good person. First of all, good to know that you know there's something wrong with you, and you've decided to do something about it
Now the hard part:
1.- exercise. 50% of your success will depend on this.
3.- go out (take the sun) sun is good for you. 50% of your success will depend on this.
2.- Do fun things, be silly, laugh at yourself, watch a lot of comedy movies. When I was very very depressed, I had a routine, everyday I watched a comedy program at 8pm, worked out at 9pm, and went to sleep at 11pm. On weekends I went out to grab some sea fod and a beer, and watched a movie, a comedy of course. It did wonders.
1.- Read this book: Man's search for meaning, by Viktor Frankl. 50% of your success will depend on this. This book saved my life. It's like 6 bucks, and very short. It's not a self-help book, it's much much better, and man! it was a lifesaver!
It's a little book divided in two parts: The first part is about his life experience at a concentration camp in WWII, and the second part deals with logoteraphy, "hyperreflexion", "paradoxical intention" and why some of the people that were prisoners (and now free) had the urge to destroy and all that.
You need to do this FOR YOURSELF, it's your life, and you know you want to live, so you're already on the right track.
thumbs up man, and keep us updated.
"Everyone has his own specific vocation or mission in life; everyone must carry out a concrete assignment that demands fulfillment. Therein he cannot be replaced, nor can his life be repeated, thus, everyone's task is unique as his specific opportunity to implement it."
Viktor Frankl
