My sociopathic neighbor is garbage. Her husband almost drank himself to death because of her before he moved out. She has continued her tirade on me.

This lady scares the h*ll out of me. She is an old piece of crap who is probably going be six feet under in the next few years who has nothing to lose. She will probably be having her legs cut off soon due to diabetes, so she will have more anger to vent. (I can always ask her if she wants to go for a walk. ) I think this woman is capable of doing serious harm

I have plenty of ammunition to give back to her to put her in her place, but fear what she is capable of.

Sometimes though, I feel my feelings about what she could do are exaggerated.

What to do?

Likely.

I really think she is capable of murder. She is a sociopath with nothing to lose. Nothing more than empty headed white trash.

That is my concern.

What has she done? Saying innapropriate things (in my home even), not minding her own business. Things no one else would tolerate. It is not really worth rehashing. I want to use another word to describer her, but have already been warned not to use it. (It rhymes with hunt.)

Her sister lives down the street and has the same anger. One time she came over to my home and berated me. I honestly have never seen anyone as angry as she was. It was straight out of an Exorcist movie. It was completely unprovoked as well.

I'm scared to stick up for myself sometimes, as well. I had to stick up for myself recently, and I got the irrational response that I got. I made it clear to the witch that I can live my life however I wish a couple of times, and I'm moving on to thinking about other things.

ah so she is ACTUALLY nuts. Thats pretty bad, in that case i would be cautious. I would just hope she commits a crime elsewhere and gets locked up...i wouldnt do anything to her or report her becuase then she'll have a grudge... maybe u can get her and her sister to fight over something

Why do you let people like this into your home?

i cannot think on my feet. i am slow-witted and by the time i figure out what somebody has done to me it is too damned late for me to take any evasive action. one more reason for me to stay home.

By who?

For the record, I think you are being paranoid. If you're that afraid of her, act civil or just ignore her and I doubt she'd do much other than yelling at you. If your neighborhood really is that unsafe, then for the love of everything that's holy get out of there.

That sucks. That's my problem too, is processes what they're saying and thinking of a counterpoint.

Me too! Actually my only close friend pretty much does whatever he wants, goes through my drawers and everything. It's like people do whatever they want and all I can do is stand there and watch. People have treated me so rudely in public places, those people should be living in a zoo. I don't mean that in a condescending way. It's really scary.

With your friend and the drawers, why not just shoulder them aside and close the drawers? that's to the point, and doesn't require any fast talk.

first of all, a true friend [in any sense] does not invade another's privacy, and secondly, physically blocking said "friend" from such misvbehavior usually leads up to violence, which is never pleasant. they would try to manhandle me and i would have to bash them up with whatever tool was at hand. then they determined to become my lifetime enemies.

anyways, it sounds like the poster's friend really just wants somebody to dominate.

I can't push someone unless it's going to be a physical fight, which I don't want that to happen. My friend is dominating and pushy but everybody puts up with it. He's actually the one who told me I have aspergers syndrome. He said he has aspergers too but I have my doubts about it because talks a lot.
