Whatever used to happen to WP?

Back when I first started, everything seems to be so awesome, there was constantly new threads, there was obviously less drama when I was there (unless I was blind or just lucky not to bump into one)?

There was definitely lots of laughs and everything and now THIS! **Referring to dramas**

After what happened in the cancer thread, I've come to the point where I just give up for everything here.

I guess the place is not what it seems turned into some kinda joke,.

I think you have to alienate yourself from the drama's as it has been a constant, through my time here on WP. It's a shame but there are many people who want to show how mean they can be when they post here. Maybe it's an Aspie thing, who knows? But compared to other forums WP, is without fail the one where people seem to visit only to antagonize others, and to flex their harsh beahviour.

Which is a shame as not all folks are that way...

WP seems to go through phases. It will probably pick up again.

I think some people that thread had gotten too wrapped up in petty nitpicking and were lashing out. Sorry it happened to you.

I hope you'll post here as I think you're a cool guy.

We have our fun phases and our dark phases. We're just going through a dark phase, right now. Things will brighten up, again.

That thread IS the most interesting thread in WP's history , it's like a Agatha christie 's story : Full of mystery ,drama, suspense , evil geniuses ......and SURPRISES (it's sad that some people's trusts were exploited and back-stabbed but well... )

A bigger population of the people are having harder times these days, and especially not much easier on the Aspies. I've even been acting like a douche offline. Not that I mean to, but I've been under a lot of stress with worrying about possible eviction (which was finally taken care of).

People in general on this board also have parents, and those parents are more than likely going through hardships of their own, whether financial, emotional or physical. Children who are building up steam don't just reside on WrongPlanet; there are plenty of NT-based forums who are going through this.

It's not like Aspies are a separate race from the Neurotypicals. Just because we don't quite fit in doesn't mean we lack the potential to be real sh*theads.

You know what I find so annoying, whenever somebody is completely different like people having troubles with grammar and spelling, they instantly get picked on and I find that so unfair imo.

I did not know the Wrong Planet is in a recession.....in any case, you are right on, superboyian. No one should tease another, ever. (We all make typos).

If someone's grammar is slightly bad, but it's clearly readable, why the f*** even care?! Right? If their grammar needs improving, it's not yours or my problem.

I must admit, I kinda thought the whole drama was interesting until you guys decided to put me involved and accuse me of everything, especially Friskey who thinks she knows it all.

I'm not being a drama queen, I'm saying what is true, if you don't like what I'm saying, well boo hoo.
