Am I respected?

This site, every once in a while, can make me somewhat irritated and down.
I'm looking for things that I don't feel there are many people out there who will be into what I am, and I just don't know if I'm particularly respected with my views on certain things.

It appears that there aren't many people who believe what I believe, or are into what I am into, and I feel out of place tonight.

I don't feel particularly respected.

just because someone doesn't agree with what you do doesn't mean they don't respect you
and a lot of people don't comprehend that

Thanks man. There's been quite a few things tonight that have made me feel kind of like this really.
There's a few views and feelings I have which I feel almost alone with.

Even though you are unable at this point to find some else who has a similiar interest here on WP, that doesn't mean there not here - it's a big community.

Maybe a specialized forum on your interest picks your fancy?

I rather like your posts, samtoo. They are always respectfull in style and I enjoy reading them, even when I disagree with the opinion you voice in them.

I don't think people have to hold the same opinions to get along with each other. In fact, I couldn't name a single person in my rl surroundings who holds the same beliefs as me in all areas. Nevertheless, I still like spending time with them.

I really like you, samtoo. You're kind, good natured, and funny.

Even if I don't always see things the way you do, it doesn't prevent me from liking and respecting you.
