I am a senior in High school, and for every year I have seen the midnight showing of Harry Potter. Not this year. Possibly one of the very few things I look towards socially, nope. Why? I don't date, and I haven't hung out with any friends in forever. My family can't go, and it would look weird to go with my uncle (he is 50, I am 18...not trying to be shallow). I just feel like right now that I don't have any friends. My teacher (when I wrote a paper about autism, and mentioned something about not having friends) asked "what about your friends at school?" But that is at school. They have to go to school same as I have to. They don't hang out with me anymore. They are all still nice to me, and joke there, but I don't get to go on any group dates or hang out with them. What do you guys think...
Is a friend someone you hang out with outside of a work/school (or any "forced" environment), or is it someone who is nice to you?
It's someone you hang out with. Why don't you just start asking some of the people at school you talk to if they would like to go.
