just letting you know my cat of 13 years is gone, he died today.

kirby you will be missed.

please all cat haters keep your comments to yourself cause i am not even close to being in the mood for that crap.

this may or may not be my last post here.

I'm sorry to hear that you lost a dear friend.

It's very sad to lose a pet, but I think 13 years is a good age for a cat. When the pain gets a bit less, you will have 13 years' worth of memories to draw encouragement from.

Hope you will make it through this troubled time all right.

I am very sorry for your loss. I have had two cats die, sadly very young, but your pet was a very good age

Oh, I am so sorry. As an animal lover myself I know how painful it is to lose a non human friend. Every cat, dog, chicken, guinea pig I have ever lost hurt. And your friend Kirby must have brought you many years of friendship. I wish there was something I could do, but all I can say is... I understand.

That's so sad. At least you gave Kirby a good life, right?

We had a dog I loved dearly who was hit by a car and left on the road until a friend found her. I was heart broken. Once in a while I have wonderful dreams about her that make me feel better. I feel like it's her just checking in sometimes. Kirby probably has you in his mind, too. Animals are so special and they know when we love them.

When Moose - not sure how old, but 13 could be close, she was grey tabby, nice but feisty - had a stroke, I had her in my room beside where I was working. Talked to her, all that. Suddenly the room was empty except for me - you could feel it. I chdecked - yep.

I lost mine last month, after having him for 14 of my 17 years.
I know how you feel
