I was just wondering. I know its a lot more common for girls to do it. And I mean real serious self injuring too.

Does self-piercing count?

I did it because I had sexual fantasies about it, not because I wanted to hurt myself.

Yeah, I did at times, but I rarely self-harm anymore, but still think about suicide just as often as I used to.

I used to have a friend who was a guy and who did that. He's a really disturbing person and a terrible friend. I don't miss him.

I've never cut but when I was younger I would scratch myself really hard and deep, as I got older I'd start to "black out" and punch myself in the head full force, that seems like self harm but I'm not sure it counts under what you're looking for.

I used to. I still struggle with it but I haven't done it in 4 years now.

Find what triggers your cuttings. This is an important step. The trigger will explain a lot.

I'm not a guy, but I used to cut a lot when I was younger.
My forearms are permanently scarred.
Word of advice- do it where other people can't see.

Else you'll have to endure people's staring and doctors assuming you're suicidal.

i don't know if this strictly counts as "cutting" - but when i was much younger i used to find it irresistable to peel the chafed tissue off my chapped lips, to the point of bleeding and temporary disfigurement. i am still drawn to it from time to time.

I like matches and burning myself in general. It's odd, I am under the impression that fire is supposed to be the most painful thing but knives just ick, fire gives more control and is usually easier to cover up. I put a match to my face this year and had a quarter sized burn on my cheek, told people that I was working on my car and couldn't reach a bolt and I had to put my face up against the radiator (or did I say it was the intake manifold?) nobody called my bluff.

Then again, that same week I put a 2 inch long cut starting at my eyebrow going 45 degrees from vertical and my mom didn't even notice that....I really was hoping for a good scar from that.
