I want to live somewhere else

I need a place to go, I don't want to go too far, but I want to preferably go somewhere in Victoria, like in Melbourne, but as far as probably Queensland. I want to escape from my abusive parent, I cannot report her to child services, because they don't trust me any more due to the fact my mother had me diagnosed with Aspergers, I cannot stay anywhere else (where I'd feel comfortable with).

I'm really quiet, clean, and enjoy reading books, playing on my computer, I probably won't go outside much unless you want me to go with you for something.

I'm turning 16 soon, so I will be able to apply for disability, so I might be able to help pay rent after that, interested PM me.

Dear Anicho, while I can understand what made so desperate that you want to leave your home and while I would say that WP is a rather safe place to post a request like this as many here share your problems, pleas remember that there is some people out there, especially males, who might take advantage of somebody in your kind of situation. Please do take care not to be used by somebody who seems to offer an opportunity for escape to you, but is really aiming at something more sinister.

Maybe there is some kind of shelter run by the church or a charity organiation that you could contact? That way you could decrease the risk of being exploited by an individual.

You can't ask for advice then mock people for suggesting something - especially something as sensible as a church.

There is also males out there who'd take advantage of a male teenager if they are given the chance. Your being male reduces the risk, but it doesn't eliminate it completely.

And I just proposed contacting a church organisation because those are fairly easy to locate and don't usually turn people down. If you are not the religious type, I can respect that, but charity is a main aspect of many religions and it is often offered even to those who are in need and not of the same faith.

And yes, most Aspies are what I would consider good people and I would consider WP a low-risk site for a request like yours, but I didn't know where else you might have posted similar things. Some places (both RL and on the internet) are not as safe as WP, but sometimes people tend to forget those risks because they are simply so desperately looking for a way out.

I don't want to sound like I'm mothering you, but neither would I want you or anyone else to run into potential danger blindly. A little warning cannot hurt, can it?

Anicho, please listen to FluffyDog. It's more traumatic for a guy to be sexually abused sometimes because they don't expect it. You are young and there are always predators out there. Please be careful.

I can understand your need to get away, I'm not saying that you shouldn't. I just want you to be aware that you need to be careful. If you do research into charity organiation's that may help you, it may be benificial. Also, foo fooing the idea of seeking help in a place just because you don't believe in _whatever it is_ seems silly to me.

Regardless of what you choose, please be careful.

Being serious now, you really shouldn't lie about your age. Especially when so young. Kinda doesn't help others to trust you.

I'm going to have a typical Aspie reaction (right vs wrong, black vs white) and state that I really am not interested in helping out some kid who pretends to be something he isn't. Now I doubt your gender, age and the veracity of your claims.

That's a normal response, imo. When someone lies, you really can't tell what else they're lying about. Of course, some people will give him a chance, as some people are just that nice, but I'm going to agree with you.

Right. Makes a lot of sense. You feel more private by saying you are 18 versus 15. Whatever your excuse, it doesn't change the fact that you are lying.
